Vol. 1 Time Out Preview

     Imagine being asleep for seven years and finally awakening on Christmas Eve.  How would you feel as you looked out that foggy windowpane as feathered snowflakes fell from the gray-clouded sky?  Would you feel alone?  Scared?  Confused?  What if you couldn’t recall your past…who you were…where you were…. what you were?  Enter the innocent eyes of Erikka Kisaki, a troubled teenager awakening from a coma at age sixteen.  Shy and depressed, young Erikka tries to live a normal life at a new high school boarding school in no other than Tokyo, Japan.  As Erikka begins life in this ‘new world’, she starts to wonder about her past.

     Day by day she meets new interesting people at Yamato Boarding School, including a hairspray obsessed snob and her ‘slave’, an over caring guy and his joker friend, a kindhearted walking encyclopedia, and a supernatural mysterious girl.  Erikka notices that not only students are walking through the school building though...one does not seem so human.  A shadowy ghostly figure seems to be stalking Erikka everywhere she goes.  A staff of red flames follow the tail of his black cloak.  Erikka, terrified, tries to tell the principle including some other students in the building about this man’s ….if he even is a man… appearances but no one believes her.  They think she is going crazy.  Erikka knows better though…something is wrong…like someone is out to get her…what should she do?

     One evening after a stressful day of school, Erikka collapses to the ground and falls into another deep sleep, although it only lasts for a short while.  Through a dream, she is partially reconnected to her youth and is shown confusing glimpses of her past.  A vision of her mother’s spirit flashes in her head as her mother hands her a golden pocket watch.  Erikka takes it into her small hands upside down as she strokes its shiny body.  As she slowly flips the watch over and her widened eyes meet the center of the two clock hands, her heart skips a beat and she awakes in a sweat.  At first she thought it was a nightmare, but discovers she is wrong when she looks down at the golden pocket watch resting in the palm of her hand.  What is this thing…and…how did it escape from her dream to the real world…or was her dream reality?  Where did it come from and why is it so important?  There must be reason for its existence, and for hers.  Join Erikka’s journey to find herself and understand the way of time.
